Rose Cottage is situated in the centre of one of Suffolk's prettiest villages, making it an ideal place to explore everything Suffolk has to offer from long, beautiful stretches of sandy beach to historic medieval towns.

 

Our beautifully decorated family-friendly cottage has plenty to offer whatever the time of year you choose to visit. 

Rose Cottage provides a high standard of accommodation for four people and has just been inspected by the English Tourist Board and was awarded 4 stars and a Gold award.

• Our 16th Century cottage comfortably sleeps a family of four.
• There is one double bedroom with a king size bed and flat screen freeview television/dvd.
• Two further single rooms.
• Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washer/drier, full oven, hob and microwave.
• Comfortable beamed sitting room with inglenook fireplace and woodburning stove. Freeview television/dvd, I-pod dock with radio.
• Seperate dining room with oak table and chairs, freeview television/dvd and play station 2.
• Ground floor bathroom, with bath and rainfall shower over with glass screen.
• The cottage has a pretty garden, 2 sets of garden furniture, patio, barbeque and lawn.

Sorry, no pets allowed.

The cottage has a strict NO SMOKING policy.

Prices apply to date of arrival. 

All the prices listed above are based on on a 1 week stay from Friday to Friday, but we are delighted to arrange short breaks for people depending on availability.

A deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking and the remaining balance should be paid one month in advance of your stay. We also request a fully refundable accidental breakage fee of £50.

We accept BACS payments, which are usually free of charge within the UK. Please ask for details at the time of enquiring.
For our international guests, we can provide IBAN and BIC codes, but they do incurr charges and are subject to exchange rates.

Debenham and the surrounding area

Debenham is a lovely picturesque village with a range of traditional shops, cafes, pubs and leisure facilities all within walking distance of our cottage.

Within a short drive you can be at the seaside towns of  Walberswick, Aldeburgh, Southwold and Felixstowe.

For family days out you can visit Framlingham and Orford Castles, Helmingham Hall gardens, Snapemaltings, Sutton Hoo or the famous Cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds.

There is an abundance of Nature reserves, woodland walks and cycle routes within the surrounding area and Thornham Walks/Estate is only a short drive away.

For the children why not visit Easton Farm Park, Banham Zoo or Africa Alive.
