At Ashley House we offer quality accommodation at an affordable price in a convenient location. All our rooms have en-suite facilities, are comfortably furnished and well equipped for any length of stay. Our easy-to-use door code system enables guests to access their rooms at any time of day or night without disturbing anyone — no need to worry about late arrival.
We are within easy distance of the Rowley Mile Racecourse, Tattersalls Sales ring and the National Horseracing Museum, as well as being convenient for the many restaurants, bars and shops in the town.
Our rooms are available for occupation from 2.00pm on day of arrival, with check-out by 11.00am on day of departure.
A full English breakfast is included in the room price and is served between 7.00 and 9.00am on weekdays and between 8.00 and 9.30am at weekends.
There is usually plenty of on-road parking space in Old Station Road or in Sackville Street at the back of Ashley House.
There is also a public car park nearby in Rous Road.
Our Rooms
We have 9 en-suite rooms consisting of 3 singles, 1 twin, 3 doubles and 2 Family rooms. The spacious Family rooms contain a double bed plus a sofabed and can either be booked for a family of four, as a Suite for a couple or as a twin room. All rooms have TV/DVD, internet access and tea/coffee making facilities.

Newmarket and the surrounding area
Newmarket is, of course, famous as the headquarters of British Horseracing and there is certainly much to see and do for those involved in or interested in the racing world.
However, the town is also well-placed for visiting the nearby city of Cambridge and historic towns of Ely and Bury St Edmunds.
