The Angel Gallery is a beautiful cottage situated in the small medieval town of Lavenham. The cottage is decorated with thick oak beams throughout and houses exhibitions of local and national artists. Guests staying at this delightful bed and breakfast can admire the works of artists such as Leslie Gibson, costume drawings of the 1930's by Mary Wild and pottery by John Leach.

The cottage houses three charming beamed bedrooms. All rooms are quiet, furnished with antiques and have lovely views. Upon arrival, guests will be able to relax in the spacious, beamed lounge in front of a lovely inglenook fireplace and in the morning, guests will be treated to a superb breakfast using local produce in the dining room. Every bedroom has hot drink making facilities. The double and one twin room both have en-suite bathrooms and the second twin has it's own private bathroom, priced at just £70 a night each!

Lavenham

Lavenham has been described as one of the finest medieval villages in England, thanks to it's fine Tudor town houses, mixed in with small crooked cottages. The splendid Guildhall dominates the market place and the "Wool Church" of St Peter and St Paul has one of the tallest towers  in East Anglia. This historic site is complemented by various antique and gift shops, tea rooms, art galleries, restaurants and country walks to enjoy. Situated within some of East Anglia's prettiest villages and only a short drive away from places such as Ipswich, Colchester and Bury St Edmunds, Lavenham is the perfect place to spend a few days away.
